Most of you know that it\u2019s not any longer conveniently possible to print a file with absolutely NO color management tweaking the colors. Between Apple, Adobe and Epson, there just isn\u2019t a simple and obvious way to print out a sample target for reading with your ColorMunki or i1 Photo Pro.<\/p>\n
There are three, in fact.<\/p>\n
One is well-known: get Adobe\u2019s Color Printer Utility, which is free from them at: \u00a0<\/p>\n
https:\/\/helpx.adobe.com\/photoshop\/kb\/no-color-management-option-missing.html<\/p>\n
The next is to purchase Print Tool, a wonderful RIP that only costs $50:<\/p>\n
http:\/\/www.quadtonerip.com\/html\/QTRprinttool.html<\/p>\n
And the final one (which is often overlooked) is to use Apple\u2019s own ColorSync Utility (in the utilities folder).<\/p>\n
Choose file\/open and open the target file. Choose print, and from the Color: popup menu choose print as color target.<\/p>\n
