Please check its power and wifi connection.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>ARRGGGHHHH!!!<\/p>\n<p>I spent month trying to resolve this. There is all kinds of voodoo on the web, but here&#8217;s what worked for me.<\/p>\n<p>First, try the easiest solution: simply say &#8220;Alexa, discover devices.&#8221; \u00a0That may fix it right away. (In fact, saying that every few months won&#8217;t hurt.) I&#8217;d also suggest it after you add or replace a device.<\/p>\n<p>Then, try (if possible) unplugging the unit, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging it back in.<\/p>\n<p>If none of that works, consider a dip into your wifi settings.<\/p>\n<p>1) Find\u00a0the least used channel from 1, 6 and 11 in your 2.4 settings. Use that channel. \u00a0(6 is usually the most crowded, followed by 11 and 1, but you need to check actual conditions in your location.)<\/p>\n<p>2) Unless you need 2.4 N, reduce the bandwidth from 40 to 20.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If that doesn&#8217;t work, then&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>3) make sure you are WPA2\/WPA3 PERSONAL for your login, and make sure you use the same password on all your bands.<\/p>\n<p>After making the changes, unplug \u00a0all your wifi plugs from the wall socket, \u00a0wait 10 seconds, and plug them back in again.<\/p>\n<p>HTH<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Your switch isn&#8217;t responding.
